Video: Police Ask Public's Help In Search For Suspects In Fairfield Restaurant Robbery

Police investigators in Fairfield are seeking the public’s assistance as they attempt to locate a pair who were caught on camera during an early morning break-in at an area restaurant.

At approximately 5:20 a.m. on Monday, June 10, a man forced his way through a rear door of Tuttobene Restaurant on Post Road. Investigators have since released surveillance video of the suspect.

According to police, the suspect - described as an African American man - was driven to the scene by a Hispanic woman in a black Buick Encore with no front license plate and a handicap placard in the windshield.

In the surveillance video, the man - wearing ripped jeans and a hooded sweatshirt - can be seen rummaging through an office inside the restaurant.before the Buick took off.

Police said that the suspect was completely covered inside the restaurant and appeared to be wearing plastic over his hands and used towels to pick up items.
